    Food
    “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” - Hippocrates

    Food for me is life, it’s what nourishes and heals us, it’s brings us together, it’s delicious, fun and exciting. 

     

    The food we eat is ideally from natural and wholesome sources, just as nature intended, it’s not food that’s been added to and interfered with by manufacturers. 

     

    Our food should be perishable not processed and long life, lasting weeks and months, unless of course it’s a fermented or preserved product, but even then that wouldn’t be the core of our diet, it’s more of  an addition, a side to a meal. 

     

    For me food is to nourish and heal, it’s to taste delicious so our taste buds are stimulated on a regular basis by all of the flavours; sour, sweet, salty, umami, bitter, it’s so important to our well being that we experience these diverse flavours regularly, why do you think nature put them there in the first place, and why do you think nature gifted us such a diverse range of foods?! 

     

    It’s such a pity that intelligent humans have used their time and mind to work for food industries where they’re continuous creating ways of robbing our taste buds! 

     

    These food giants are slowly making us addicted to their toxic, processed products, they’re poisoning our bodies and minds. 

     

    These so called foods are full of artificial ingredients and chemicals, ingredients cleverly added to trick our brain into craving and needing more, then we become addicted, like it’s a drug! 

     

    These foods are playing havoc with people’s health, both physically and mentally, they’re destroying lives and making people ill, leading them to become dependant on another VERY controlling and TOXIC industry, the Pharmaceutical Industry!! 

     

    ‘Big Pharma’ as the pharmaceutical industry is fondly referred to, do not wish us to be well!! 

     

    ‘Big Pharma’ do not want us to be fully informed about the amazing benefits to our well-being and health that breathing as we’re designed to do, eating from nature as we’re designed to do, and drinking water that we’re designed to do and MUST have, what they all do for our health. 

     

    They do their best to take down reports and studies about the benefits of what is naturally available to us for free or cheaply and is good for our health. 

     

    So if for example the Hawthorn berry which is amazing for the heart, if there were some clinical trials showing equally or even better results than say statins, big Pharma would do their best to get rid of that data because hawthorn is out there in all our hedgerows in abundance for free and they can’t patent it  and they certainly can’t sell it like statins!! 

     

    ‘Big Pharma’ can not sell these naturally available and free things to us, they absolutely can’t patent and make billions from our breath, our mindfulness, our sleep, nature, exercise, these are the things that keep us well and happy and free from illness but these big greedy industries don’t want that!! 

     

    ‘Big Pharma’ don’t want us to know about the benefits of the things that they can’t patent, these things we’re often born doing and thriving from, and things we naturally would do if something hadn’t interfered with our human instinct and knowledge!! 

     

    You see when we mostly consume and do thr the things that make us well, we don’t want to eat toxic processed foods and we don’t need endless pills to keep us alive, they don’t make money for these companies, our well being and happiness is not profitable for ‘Big Pharma!! 

     

    As for the food industries we think we’re happy because the processed foods we’re addicted to make us feel happy, that is temporarily, until they start to interfere with our brain chemicals and hormones, one minute when we’ve eaten we feel happy then soon after we feel lethargic, bloated, depressed etc.. until all we can think about is when we can have that processed meal or snack etc.. in order to get our fix and give us that temporary dopamine hit again! 

     

    Sadly the more we are stuck in this cycle of eating toxic processed food, the more we can’t stop, over time (everyone is different) we get sicker and sicker, and need medicine, then we either stop eating that food and eventually can stop the medicine and hopefully heal, or we take more and more drugs and keep eating the food that’s making us even more ill, until we need more drugs and then we die, way too soon! 

     

    Food is life, when we give our body what it needs in the form of food, water, sleep, exercise, peace, love, connection, nature, it can pretty much heal itself from anything,  then we’re in control of our happiness and our life, instead of drugs and doctors controlling our fate! 

     

    I’m not a nutritionist but food is one of my passions, I love food, and I love to share food and share my knowledge of food. 

     

    It’s people like me and millions of incredible scientists, health practitioners and everyday people who are making the most of social media and digital marketing tools to get the word out there. 

    This knowledge and the means to share it mean many more people become aware and begin to take back what’s rightfully theirs, their own health and well-being.
