Did you know that the government health guidelines recommend a minimum of 200 iu per day, but it’s recognised in the UK and areas with limited sunlight particularly during the winter months that this amount is not nearly enough, it’s more like 1000 iu per day tends to be the optimum but at points 2-3,000 are needed.
Vitamin D is essential for our immune health, bones and mental health/mood, ideally you would take it in addition to your supplements unless your supplements are a high enough dose, you often find in supplements it’s usually the lowest RDA so check your bottle to be sure.
A trusted and very inexpensive brand is Biocare see below.. it’s around £11 for 15 mls taking 1 drop per day to give 1000 iu or there are other products with a lower dose.
The brand I recommend above all others as shown below is Solray - D, it’s a very trusted brand that I’ve used for years, this one comes recommended by my homeopathic doctor who takes a great deal of time to research every remedy and supplement he recommends.
As recommended by my homeopathic doctor I take this brand Physica Solray -D with vitamin K2 supplement 2-3 sprays per day in the summer months for an adult, none for children.
In the winter it’s one spray per day for children and adults 3-5 sprays per day, ideally take it first thing in the morning sprayed directly into the mouth, under the tongue.
If you do start to take this product build up the dose slowly starting with one spray per day for the first week, two the next week and so on!
